SAFETY INFO:
Before you attend an in person event!
1. Please fill out this symptom monitoring form before each individual event, even if you just attended a youth ministry event a few days before. Students may fill this form out themselves - it is not required that a parent fill it out. If you answer yes to any of the questions on the form, please stay home and do not attend the event. If you plan to attend several events, check out these videos for a way to make the form into an icon on your phone for easy access - iPhone or Android.
2. Don't forget your mask! Masks will be required for all in-person youth ministry events that take place indoors. Per the Archdiocese of Detroit's guidelines, masks may be homemade or level one/basic-grade disposable surgical masks.
At the event:
- Social distancing between individuals or families will be maintained
- There will be multiple opportunities for hand sanitizing / hand washing
- Food will be distributed safely, using individually packaged items when possible and served with safety precautions in mind
Parents, it is expected that:
- if your child is symptomatic or has been exposed to COVID-19, they will stay home from the event.
- if your child tests positive for COVID-19 following a youth ministry event, you will contact Emily as soon as possible so that contact tracing can begin.
- symptomatic students will be kept home until they have tested negative for COVID-19 or have been cleared according to CDC guidelines.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation! Following these guidelines makes it possible for us to meet in person, and we are so grateful to be able to do so!
